As with many of the fabrics in her lines, Lee designs them from concept to thread choices. That is the unique part of the Crosswalk Coat. She creates her design, in this case Xs and linear patterns. Then she picks four colors; red, yellow, blue, and black, and putting them in different combinations using the pointillism technique. Lee creates multiple colors throughout the fabric. This coat is a full length, display of this technique. The back of the coat is an especially fantastic example. Its shapes, lines and colors are so dramatic. The front of the coat is no less dramatic with its fun high pile cuffs and long shawl collar. Two huge pockets, and one small, in completely different fabrics add a touch of sass to the front of the coat. The finishing touch, the red handmade ceramic buttons, give everything a final pop. The Crosswalk Coat is 48” long.
