Yellow is a cheerful spring garden wedding color. The Daffodil Bolero is ideal for the Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom, or the fortunate and stylish Grandmother of the Bride or Grandmother of the Groom attending a grandchild’s wedding.
The embroidery is a botanical view of different blooming daffodils and bulbs with their curling roots as an elegant swirl, on a creamy goldish iridescent background. The cut outs in the embroidery allow the color of the shell or skirt to come through the embroidery. The photo shows the bolero over our dupioni silk color ‘Corn’. This bolero is also lovely over our warm neutral color called almond. For a more earthy feel, suitable for an outdoor botanical garden wedding in a park like setting, try our warm earthy olive green called Herb, or the cooler neutral green called Swamp.
The main body, and center back show a complex embroidery in nine delicate colors. The sides and 3/4 length (18″) sleeves are Corn colored dupioni silk. The front band is Almond dupioni silk. The closure is an flowers and soft green velvet leaves concealing a hook and eye.
The Bolero is approximately 20 inches long. For a longer length send us a note ordering the Daffodil Jacket which is approximately 26 inches long. The sleeves are 18″ long in both styles. The skirt shown in the photo is the Daffodil Skirt in Cor. The shell is the Valentino Shell in Corn.
Dry Cleaning recommended.
