Pomp Jacket
Beautiful and flexible fit! This hand crushed rayon jacket made with two-tone, iridescent fabric shimmers in the light. Bubble cuff details on ¾ sleeves. Front bands are made of bias cut 100% Dupioni Silk. Two hand-formed rayon flowers in the reverse color of the body cover the hidden hook and eye closure at waist.
This hand-crushed cross-woven rayon Pomp Jacket with softly gathered bubble cuffs adds romance to a special occasion. The colors change with movement because two different colors of thread are used for the warp and weft.
The front bands are made of bias cut 100% Dupioni Silk. Two hand-formed rayon flowers in the reverse color of the body show the position of the hidden hook and eye closure.
The natural breathable fabric in the body is tightly twisted and steamed, then heated pressure is applied to give the fabric a crushed ‘memory’. It will adapt to many different body shapes.
Sizes and Lengths: This adaptable garment comes in a variety of colors and 8 sizes. The Bolero version is approximately 20″ long. The Jacket is approximately 26″ long.

For reshaping: Adjust the size and shape by spraying lightly with a water bottle and then twisting tighter at the waist and pulling out the bottom edge for a wider hemline. Allow to dry.
For traveling: Lay the sleeves along the body. Twist the garment into a long tube without squashing the bubbles. Wrap around a corner of your suitcase. Don’t fold it or the garment will arrive with a fold line across it. Whoops! If that happens, hang it in the shower and allow steam to gently drop the fold line out. Alternatively, pat the fold with a damp cloth and re-twist. Allow to dry.
